The temperature sensor is a device that measures heat or coolness by converting temperature into an electrical signal. It works by transforming temperature variations into a corresponding electrical signal, such as a change in resistance or voltage.
As China Temperature sensor Manufacturers and Industrial Temperature Sensor Factory, Jiangsu Zhaolong Electrics Co., Ltd. is a regional high-tech enterprise and a production base of temperature sensors and temperature control instruments. We have jointly developed and produced a series of thermocouples (thermal resistances) and temperature control electronics with numerous R&D institutions and academies in Shanghai. These products are salable throughout the country and the world, offering an advantage in cost performance. Our products have a renowned reputation in the market and win customers' trust due to their excellent performance, attractive appearance, high reliability, advanced technology, and good cost performance.
With strong technical development team and patent results, we can undertake business for normal and special specifications, and can design & install various large-scale and small-scale automatic temperature control boxes and temperature control rooms and remote monitoring temperature control systems for customers.
If you have ever compared two thermocouples on the same pipe and watched them disagree by a few degrees, the sensor tip probably was not the problem. More often, the answer sits at the other end of the loop, in the term...

READ MOREAs a China Temperature sensor manufacturer, Jiangsu Zhaolong Electrics Co., Ltd. combines sensing elements, protection tubes, connection heads, and extension cable into one complete temperature measurement package. Since 2005 we have designed and manufactured thermocouples, resistance temperature detectors, and assembled probes for process plants, furnace builders, machinery OEMs, and maintenance operations worldwide.
Our temperature sensor range is supported by in-house welding, assembly, calibration, and testing facilities. We also work with Shanghai research institutions on sensor materials and temperature control electronics, which lets us respond to both standard catalog requirements and special-specification projects.
We supply this category as three complementary families. The table below summarizes what each family handles and the configurations we normally build.
| Family | Typical temperature range | Best application fit | Common configurations |
|---|---|---|---|
| Assembled thermocouple | -200 to 2000°C depending on type | Furnace and kiln temperature, molten metal, salt baths, cement and power plant service, long-life high-temperature measurement | S, R, B precious-metal types; WRe tungsten-rhenium; K-type with ceramic or stainless steel protection tubes |
| Resistance temperature detector | -200 to 600°C for Pt100 elements | Process and machinery temperature where stability, repeatability, and a linear signal matter more than maximum temperature | 3-wire and 4-wire Pt100, stainless steel or PTFE sheath, needle, magnetic, thread, and flange mounting |
| Thermocouple | -200 to 1300°C typical for K/N, higher for S/R/B | General industrial sensing, exhaust temperature, surface measurement, laboratory, food and plastics processing | L-shaped exhaust probe, surface-mount patch, needle-armoured flexible probe, handheld, PTFE extension cable |
When your enquiry reaches us, the first decisions are not about price; they are about the thermal and mechanical duty. We use the working point, process medium, and required output to determine the sensing element, protection tube, and mounting style.
Accuracy is defined by the sensor type and class. Pt100 sensors can be ordered with Class A or B tolerance, while thermocouple accuracy is specified for each alloy. When a higher level of confidence is required, we calibrate the finished sensor and include the calibration data.
From element to probe, our production route includes wire cutting and cleaning, precision welding of the measuring junction, insulation, protective-tube assembly, and explosion-proof treatment where required. For RTDs, we encapsulate the platinum element and configure the leads in a 3-wire or 4-wire arrangement to reduce lead resistance error.
Jiangsu Zhaolong Electrics Co., Ltd. operates a dedicated temperature sensor production base with an R&D team that supports normal and special specifications. We routinely build sensors based on customer drawings, samples, or existing part numbers, and we can design and install automatic temperature control cabinets, temperature control rooms, and remote monitoring temperature control systems for larger projects.
Our temperature sensors are used in metallurgy, power generation, cement, petrochemical, natural gas, machinery, food processing, and new-energy equipment. Specialty designs include thermocouples for molten steel, copper, aluminum, and zinc solutions, salt furnace thermocouples, and high-precision long-life assemblies for cement plants and power plants.
Our anti-oxidation tungsten-rhenium thermocouples provide a lower-cost alternative to platinum-rhodium types while still reaching high measurement temperatures, and some designs meet military standards. For corrosive media, PTFE-sheathed sensors and PTFE tubes, plates, rods, gaskets, and custom-shaped parts offer resistance to strong acids, strong alkalis, and high temperatures.
Every sensor can be customized around your drawing or sample. We normally confirm probe diameter, immersion length, thermocouple type, RTD wire configuration, protection tube material, process connection, connection head, and output termination. For control loops, we can supply matching temperature transmitters and controllers, or connect our sensors to the instrumentation protocol already installed on your line.
Installation documentation, fitting guidance, and process drawings are provided with each order. Our after-sales service includes a one-year warranty against non-human damage, calibration service for operating sensors, and spare parts such as thermocouple connectors, heads, sleeves, compensation wire, and high-temperature cable.
To prepare a fast and accurate proposal, please include the following project details:
Depending on the sensing element and protection hardware, our range covers approximately -200°C to +2000°C. Pt100 RTDs are typically used from -200°C to 600°C, K-type thermocouples to around 1300°C, and platinum-rhodium or tungsten-rhenium thermocouples for higher temperatures.
Use a thermocouple when the process is above about 600°C, response speed matters, or vibration is present. Use an RTD when you need stable, repeatable, and more linear measurement in the moderate temperature range. We can help finalize the choice once we know the working point and environment.
Yes. Customized production is our core business. Send a drawing, sample, or original part number, and we will confirm probe dimensions, thermocouple or RTD type, connection style, and material before manufacturing.
We operate under ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001, hold CE certification for relevant products, and obtained national explosion-proof production qualification for thermocouples and RTDs. Calibration certificates can be supplied with finished sensors.
Yes. Our service package includes a one-year warranty against non-human damage, calibration service, and replacement parts such as thermocouple connectors, heads, sleeves, compensation wire, and high-temperature cable.
We regularly supply sensors with mV, Pt100, or 4-20 mA outputs that connect directly to PLCs, DCS systems, temperature transmitters, and temperature controllers. For complete solutions, we can also design and install automatic temperature control cabinets and remote monitoring systems.
