We supply the connection and protection hardware that keeps those instruments stable in the field: thermocouple connectors, thermocouple heads, and thermocouple sleeves. Thermocouple Accessories Range and Application Matching

Thermocouple Connectors

Connectors are the signal link between the thermocouple and the monitoring or control system. We produce miniature and standard-size field-wireable connectors, panel-mount and in-line couplers, with contacts arranged for correct polarity and color coding by thermocouple type. For thermocouple types K, J, T, E, N, S, R and B, the connector material and wire termination are selected to limit parasitic junction error. Replacing a damaged connector on the plant floor should not require re-engineering the loop.

Thermocouple Heads

Thermocouple heads enclose the terminal block and create a controlled transition from sensor wires to signal cable or a compact transmitter. We supply standard connection heads with threaded covers, cable glands and mounting lugs, plus stainless steel versions where the environment demands higher mechanical or chemical resistance. For hazardous areas, we match the head and cable entry to the explosion-proof structure of our qualified thermocouple and RTD assemblies.

Thermocouple Sleeves

Sleeves, also called thermowells or protection tubes, isolate the sensing element from process pressure, media attack, vibration and abrasion. We manufacture straight, stepped, tapered and flanged designs for pipes, tanks, reactors and heat exchangers. Material selection depends on the maximum temperature, pressure, chemical compatibility and required thermal response. Stainless steel, high-temperature alloy, ceramic and PTFE-formed components all appear in our production range for applications from strong acid service to molten metal measurement.

Materials, Specifications and Industrial Fit

No accessory can be selected in isolation. A sleeve that protects against corrosion but slows the response too much may be useless in a fast loop; a connector rated for the wrong calibration can cancel out the accuracy of an expensive sensor.

  • Thermocouple type: K, J, T, E, N, S, R and B calibrations require matching connector contacts and extension material.
  • Process conditions: maximum temperature, working pressure, flow velocity and media determine the sleeve material, wall thickness and process connection.
  • Hazardous-area requirements: explosion-proof heads and cable glands must fit the classified area and the approved thermocouple assembly.
  • Cable entry: thread type and size must match metal conduit or flexible cable used on site.
  • Transmitter fit: if the head must contain a temperature transmitter, the head depth and terminal block layout matter.

Our engineering team can also recommend alternative materials when the process contains chlorides, reducing atmospheres, strong acids or high-temperature steam. The goal is to protect the sensor without hiding process changes from the control loop.

We also design and install automatic temperature control boxes, temperature control rooms and remote monitoring temperature control systems, so an accessory package can be delivered with the full loop rather than as loose components.

Quality Assurance and Factory Testing

Accessories are checked for thread fit, terminal continuity, sealing surfaces and mechanical dimensions before leaving the factory. When supplied as part of a complete temperature assembly, the sensor is calibrated in our laboratory across -200°C to +2000°C with a resolution of 0.01°C and temperature control of ±0.1°C. Calibration certificates are available for complete assemblies.

We provide a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects and keep spare connectors, terminal blocks, heads and sleeves available for maintenance replacements. This applies to standard deliveries and OEM/ODM projects alike.

Customer FAQs

Do you supply standard accessories only or custom versions as well?

Both. Our standard connectors, heads and sleeves cover most industrial needs, and we routinely produce custom versions from drawings or samples. Because we are also a thermocouple and RTD manufacturer, we can adjust the accessory to the exact sensor design.

How should I specify a thermocouple sleeve?

Send the sensor calibration, process media, maximum working temperature and pressure, insertion length and process connection. If the media is corrosive, include the chemical composition and concentration so we can propose stainless steel, alloy, ceramic or PTFE-formed protection.

Can accessories be supplied with an assembled thermocouple?

Yes. We supply accessories separately or preassembled with thermocouples, RTDs, compensation wire and temperature transmitters. This is common for high-temperature, explosion-proof and transmitter-in-head assemblies where compatibility is critical.

How do you test thermocouple accessories before delivery?

We check thread fit, terminal continuity, cover operation and mechanical dimensions. Complete sensor assemblies are calibrated in our laboratory across the required temperature range, and calibration certificates are issued for the assembly.

What after-sales support do you provide?

We provide a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects and maintain spare connectors, heads, terminal blocks and sleeves for replacement. For projects that include temperature control systems, our engineering team supports installation and commissioning coordination.
